WhatSphere racial audience scores are deviations from racial_baselines_by_origin, the Hollywood row in particular. Replacing those baselines with census shares would move every racial score. This page sets the published baselines beside one census table so a reader can see the distance. It does not change a title, a factor, or a score version.
The census extract is the American Community Survey 2023 1-year estimates, table DP05, United States. Universe: total population 334,914,896. Hispanic or Latino is an origin, so it is not a race-alone line. The 2023 table has no Middle Eastern or North African category, and no separate South Asian line. Asian alone includes South Asian origins, while the scoring baseline splits asian and south_asian. Count 0 on those two rows means the table has no line. It is not a population of zero, and it is not drawn as zero people.
